Hello

I’m Eloise (Ellie for short!), a graphic designer, artist, and photographer based in Denver. I earned a four-year BFA in design and have three years of professional work experience in New York, Hawaii and a couple locations in between! I’ve explored several industries including technology, e-commerce and health care. I’m so glad you’ve stopped by my small creative corner of the worldwide web.

I practice mindful design, free-thinking, and outside the box problem-solving. In my opinion, good design is a seamless combination of creativity and empathy which aims to functionally communicate to people from all walks of life.

In my free time, you might find me exploring art museums, petting dogs, reading books, picnicking in a park, rock climbing, or enjoying time with the ones I love the most.

I’m delighted you’re here and I have a listening ear ready if you’d like to talk! Say hello over here.

Design Philosophy

I’m a big-time believer in the Butterfly Effect; a small action has the power to significantly shift a larger outcome. With every choice, word, or design we bring into the world, bit by bit we’re contributing to bigger areas of life. As a designer, and just a person roaming the world, I think I owe it to myself and others to do my very best to make sure my actions are compassionate and build towards the good.

I quite like these words: “Love doesn’t mean doing extraordinary or heroic things. It means knowing how to do ordinary things with tenderness.” - Jean Vanier

When I’m working on a design or piece of art, I aim to embody this mindful sort of spirit Vanier is talking about. I want my work to show close attention to detail, to feel impactful, and to hold a spirit of joy. My intention is to create in a way that makes people feel valued, seen, and accepted. I will never do this perfectly, but I try to do a little better and better each go around.

Welcome to the Warehouse

The Wildflower Warehouse, that is. In 2018, I started up an Instagram account to serve as a fun space for me to explore ideas. I cut up fabric, painted wood, wove thread, sketched characters, screened printed, and experimented with mix-media collages. With the support of my friends and family, the account has grown little by little. Over time I expanded to Etsy so feel free to hop over and check out some prints! My biggest goal with Wildflower Warehouse is to create an assortment of art things that I’m proud of and that spark a bit of joy.
